Gato Scatena is a co-founder and executive of Scatena & Rosner Films. In this position, Scatena is responsible for overseeing overall company positioning, strategic corporate partnerships, marketing campaigns and networking development for S&R Films. During all film and television production phases, he also shares development, packaging and producing responsibilities with S&R Co-founder, Jordan Rosner.
Scatena grew up in Kailua Kona, Hawaii prior to attending and graduating from the University of California at Santa Cruz where he studied Film & Digital Media along with Computer Science. While in school, he co-founded the Los Angeles-based production and post house, Food for the Moon Productions, with his two long-time friends and fellow filmmakers, Rene Amador and Jocelyn Hsu.
Scatena has worked in front of and behind the camera on several films, both independent and studio-level. Some of his credits include the Oscar® winning "MASTER AND COMMANDER: THE FAR SIDE OF THE WORLD," starring Russel Crowe under the direction of Peter Weir, "THE WORD OF A SALESMAN" directed by Kalen Egan, "THE HEARTBREAK KID," directed by the Farrelly Brothers and starring Ben Stiller, "KILL KATIE MALONE," directed by ABC Fellowship alum Carlos Ramos Jr. and starring Dean Cain and Masiela Lusha, "FOOLS ON THE HILL" a documentary starring Dean Cain, Ed Begley Jr., and introducing Jerrol LeBaron, and most recently S&R's own "180" directed by Richard Gabai and starring Lacey Chabert and Ethan Embry.
Scatena also holds the position of vice president at InkTip, the world's leading screenplay facilitation company that assists in intellectual property acquisitions and literary talent hires and representations. Since Scatena has headed strategies there, the company has seen a membership and opt-in client increase of over 100%, along with the launching of a new division, InkTip Summit Events for which Scatena is president.
Scatena serves as an advisor to Honor In Office, a non-partisan political committee located in Tujunga, California.
Jordan Rosner is a co-founder and executive of Scatena & Rosner Films. In this position, Rosner is responsible for overseeing the Aquisitions & Development Division, along with acting as the company's primary liason to finance, talent and venue contacts.
Rosner, originally from Coral Springs, Florida, is a graduate of Florida State University where he earned his B.S. in Exercise Physiology. Putting his studies into immediate practice, he became a competitive body builder while still in school. His success in this field landed him into the world of fitness modeling, which quickly segued into theater and commercial film and television.
Rosner has worked behind-the-scenes and in front of the camera on productions such as "STUCK ON YOU," directed by the Farrelly Brothers and starring Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear, NBC's "LAS VEGAS," starring James Caan and Josh Duhamel, and Carlos Ramos Jr.'s "KILL KATIE MALONE," starring Dean Cain and Masiela Lusha, documentary "FOOLS ON THE HILL" starring Dean Cain, Ed Begley Jr. and introducing Jerrol LeBaron, and most recently S&R's own "180" directed by Richard Gabai and starring Lacey Chabert and Ethan Embry.
