ABOUT S&R FILMS
S&R Films is a young, but aggressive film, television and event production company based in Southern California. The Company is in control of a robust network and contact list consisting of distribution companies, sales agents, name talent, news outlets, publicists, financiers, and talented below-the-line crew (ie directors, cinematographers, line producers...etc). The Company mitigates investor risk by securing distribution company interest prior to filming on all projects, and by leveraging its other resources whenever needed.
S&R Films was founded in mid-2009, but has already secured several distribution offers for the feature length film "KILL KATIE MALONE" (2010), and has secured an option contract from studio producer Wendy Kram ("MAD MONEY") for the short length film and feature concept of the same name, "HOLLYWOOD DOUCHE BAGS." In 2011, S&R partnered with Check Entertainment to produce "180" directed by Richard Gabai and starring Lacey Chabert and Ethan Embry.
In an industry where independent Investors often have no assurance of a return on investment, S&R Films has proven to reduce these associated risks by 1) gaining distribution interest prior to even shooting the first frame, and 2) keeping the Investor involved and apprised of all new developments, options and opportunities.
